In Development TwoHearths

A gentle place for the things that can feel a little too heavy.

TwoHearths gives children a calm, child first way to record how their days feel, carry worries safely with Tim and ask a chosen grown up for help when they need it.

May every child have somewhere safe to put the things that feel a little too heavy.

Child first

Feelings do not need to become an argument.

TwoHearths is designed for children whose family life may involve two homes, while also supporting families who use one Hearth. It gives a child simple ways to record their own experience without asking the app to decide what caused it, who was right or whether one home is better.

The child experience

Small moments, recorded gently.

Daily Check Ins

Choose how the day felt, add simple activities and optionally write a note. Later reflections are added without silently replacing the original Check In.

Journey with Tim

Before leaving or after arriving, a child can record how heavy their shell feels. Journey is about transition feelings, not GPS tracking.

Worry Stones

A child writes their worry on a Worry Stone. It starts private, and the child can keep it with Tim, share it with selected grown ups or separately ask for help.

Ask for help

A child can ask a chosen grown up to check TwoHearths without automatically sharing what they wrote on their private Worry Stone.

Private means private

Write it on a stone. Let Tim carry it.

Worry Stones are deliberately different from ordinary wellbeing records. A child writes their worry on a stone and chooses what happens next.

Moving between Hearths

A transition check, not a tracker.

Journey with Tim lets a child record whether their shell felt light or heavy around a move. The app records the moment the child used it. It does not use that button to prove where they were or when a real world journey took place.

Families using one Hearth can switch off Journey features entirely while keeping the rest of the child wellbeing experience.

For grown ups

Useful context without turning feelings into conclusions.

Factual summaries

See counts, averages, ranges and the child's recorded choices without the app trying to explain why the child felt that way.

History is preserved

Original Check Ins remain visible. Later reflections sit alongside them rather than quietly rewriting an earlier answer.

Common Wellbeing Reports

Create a report of selected wellbeing records. Private Worry Stones are not included in the normal report.

Record integrity

Reports can include integrity information, a SHA 256 dataset fingerprint and an export receipt. Integrity helps check consistency. It does not prove factual truth.

Report integrity

Integrity is not truth.

The verification information can help explain whether the underlying report dataset is consistent with the data used for an export. It cannot establish that an event happened, explain why a child felt something, assign blame, diagnose a child or decide which home is better.

Meet Tim

A companion, not a judge.

Tim gives the child experience a familiar, gentle character. He can help make difficult feelings easier to approach, but he is not an AI therapist and does not diagnose, interpret or decide what a child's feelings mean.

His job is much simpler: be there while the child chooses what they want to record.

Designed around the child.

No adverts in Child Mode

Children's wellbeing records are not used to build advertising profiles.

Recipient specific sharing

Sharing a Worry Stone with one grown up does not automatically share it with everyone.

Neutral by design

TwoHearths does not score parents, rank homes or automatically assign cause or blame.

Privacy explained to children

A dedicated Privacy for Kids page explains the important rules in plain language with Tim.
